Privacy.
Last updated September 12, 2026 · v1 draft
The short version: we never sell your data. No ads, no trackers, no data brokers. Dued exists to put dates on your calendar, and that’s the only thing your data is used for.
What we collect
- Documents you throw at us (a syllabus, a photo, pasted text). They’re stored privately, visible only to you, and used only to extract dates. Uploaded documents are never published — class pages show extracted facts (dates, titles, times) only.
- Your Google account basics when you sign in: name, email, profile photo. Sign-in is the account — there is no password database.
- Calendar access, narrowly. When you connect your calendar we request the narrowest scope Google offers (
calendar.app.created): Dued can only see and edit calendars Dued itself created. We cannot read your existing calendars or events.
What we don’t do
- No selling or sharing of personal data. Ever.
- No advertising, no third-party trackers on any page.
- No reading your existing calendar.
- No publishing your uploads — the source file stays private to you.
- Class pages never show who subscribed — counts only, no rosters.
Analytics
We measure product funnels (like time-to-calendar) with de-identified events — no advertising identifiers, no cross-site tracking.
Deletion
Delete your account and everything goes with it: uploads, calendars we created for you, your subscriptions. Email hello@dued.io for deletion or a copy of your data — we honor GDPR and CCPA requests regardless of where you live.
